Today I have an appointment to for hypnosis to help me quit smoking, was wondering if anyone heard or have done this themselves and if it does help or if I'll be wasting money. I already cut back quite a bit on smoking, went the whole weekend without a smoke. Yesterday I ended up buying a pack because I got some unpleasant news and got really stressed out because of it. I'm smoke free for over 48 hours now, since friday morning. I'm a student and a professional engineer, and focus is extremely critical for success in both. I know nicotine is flush around about 7 days from the body, but I'm hearing that withdrawal symptoms are harsh and never expire, my question is, would something like hypnosis take care of that? one more inquiry, when people say craving get milder after a couple weeks, how mild is that?Please don't tell me they vary, I'm aware of that, but i'm hoping to get an idea from others experiences in the issue.Thank you.
