Any advice on how to quit smoking cigs? ?
Ive been smoking since I was 16 and 25 now... Its such a hard and disgusting habit to just quit. The gum doesn't. Work for me and the patch just makes me sick. I bought one of those electronic cigs to help. Any advice??

My name is Gorman and I have a question. How can I quit smoking without having to use nicotine patches or fake cigarettes? I have been a smoker my whole life and I have tried so often to quit. Now I am 34 and I have been a smoker since I was 12. I smoke about one to two packs a day and I have tried over and over to quit but could not. I have tried nicotine patches and fake cigarettes but that has not worked and had never stopped my cravings to smoke tobacco. I am now married with a daughter and I am determined to quit after a talk with my daughter a few months ago. I told her never to smoke cigarettes, however she responded, " But you do it, pa." After that, I have become determined to quit. But it has been so difficult to do so. Can anyone give me any advice? Thank you.

my moms an on and off smoker shes been of for about 11 days now she smeels better and she has more energy but shes really mean. Shes always yelld but now shes acting all bipolar like yesterday she was dooing the dishes then she screamed at me because i didnt use a paper plate then she grounded me from the computer. I decided to quit smoking and I chose today because I live in the country and I won't need to go anywhere until friday. Best way to quit smoking cigarettes?
I've been smoking almost 10 years now and I really want to quit. I have tried to go cold turkey more times than I can count but I never succeed. Has anyone successfully been able to quit using medication or OTC products? Don't advise me to just quit....I tried and it didn't work. The nicotine and psychological addiction is just too strong to do it alone for me. I need " outside" help. Please let me know what you've tried and if it's worth me trying as well. Thanks

Well my mom doesnt think i can quit, she says most people dont cant. I quit the other day. I didnt have one yesterday or today. But will i probably start again? I dont want to die from this. But i have a hard time when it comes to quitting stuff. How many people actually quit smoking?
